We never cry so hard. Must be the PMS season getting to us. After the sweet story about Charlie the Coyote we posted yesterday, we were hit by a bigger whammer by Christian the Lion. The story goes like this, way back in 1969, two Aussies, John Rendall and Anthony ‘Ace’ Bourke bought the pup Christian from a department store from London and kept Christian as a pet. But due to Christian’s increasing size and increasing cost of caring for him, John and Anthony could no longer keep him. After advice from friends, they decided to send Christian away to Kenya and reintegrate him into the wild. After a year or so, John and Anthony decided to visit Christian in Kenya, knowing that he could have forgotten them. Oh gosh, the rest of the stories are tear inducing.
